What it is
The lightest moisturiser in CeraVe’s range: a gel rather than a lotion or cream, oil-free, and gone within seconds of application. For oily skin, or for anyone who has given up on moisturiser in hot weather because everything feels like a layer.

About the ceramides
Every CeraVe formula is built on the same idea: three ceramides (NP, AP and EOP) in the same
ratio skin makes them, with cholesterol and fatty acids. Ceramides are what hold the skin barrier
together, and skin that is dry, stripped or reactive is usually short of them. The brand’s MVE
delivery system holds those ingredients in layered spheres so they release slowly rather than all
at once.

Who it suits
Oily and combination skin, and all skin types in humid weather. Oil-free and non-comedogenic.
How to use
- After cleansing and serum, apply a small amount to the face and neck.
- Morning and evening.
It contains no SPF. CeraVe also makes an Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 30, which is a different product. Use a separate sunscreen over this gel in the morning.
