What it is
AXIS-Y builds its formulas around what it calls a 6+1+1 structure: six core ingredients, one
active and one soothing agent. Here the active is niacinamide at 5%, which is the level most of the
published research on tone and pigment has used. Around it sits squalane for hydration and a group
of fruit and plant extracts for calm.
What it is formulated to do
- Improve uneven skin tone, with 5% niacinamide
- Brighten, with rice bran and niacinamide
- Soothe and hydrate, with squalane
- Work on blemishes and dark spots, with sea buckthorn fruit extract, calendula and papaya

Who it suits
All skin types, including oily and acne-prone. The texture is a light fluid gel, so it layers

How to use
- Cleanse and tone first.
- Pump one to two pumps into your hand.
- Apply to the whole face, or just to the areas with discolouration.
- Pat gently until completely absorbed, then follow with moisturiser.
- Sunscreen every morning, or the spots you are fading keep coming back.
Suitable for morning and evening. If you also use retinol, apply the retinol first and this
after.
Good to know
Patch test before the first full use. Do not apply over open or broken skin — wait until the
surface has healed. Vegan and animal test-free, per the brand.
