Celimax The Vita-A Retinal Shot Tightening Booster 15ml
Original price was: ৳ 1,600.৳ 1,350Current price is: ৳ 1,350.
A night treatment with 0.07% retinal, encapsulated in liposomes. Retinal works faster than retinol with less irritation. Evening only, and not for use in pregnancy.
What it is
Retinal, or retinaldehyde, is one step closer to active retinoic acid than retinol is, which is
why it works faster at a lower percentage. Celimax encapsulates it in liposomes so it releases
gradually rather than all at once, which is what keeps the irritation down. At 0.07% this is a
genuine retinoid treatment, not a token amount — it needs to be introduced carefully.
Read this before you buy
Retinoids are not for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If either
applies to you, or you are trying to conceive, do not use this product — use a peptide serum
instead.
Evening only. Retinal breaks down in sunlight and makes skin more sensitive to
UV. Sunscreen every morning is mandatory while you use this, not optional.
What it is formulated to do
- Visibly smooth wrinkles and fine lines
- Firm the skin and improve density, with peptides
- Refine the look of enlarged pores
- Support the barrier through the process, with ceramide
Key ingredients
- Retinal (retinaldehyde) 0.07%, liposome encapsulated
- Peptides — collagen support
- Ceramide — barrier protection
- Vitamin E and panthenol — antioxidant and soothing
How to start, properly
- Patch test on your jawline for two nights first.
- Start twice a week for two weeks, on dry, clean skin after cleansing.
- If your skin is comfortable, go to every other night, then nightly over about six weeks.
- Apply a few drops, avoiding the eye area and the corners of the mouth and nose.
- Follow with a plain moisturiser. A barrier cream such as the Arencia Eraser Soothing Cream
makes retinal far easier to tolerate. - Sunscreen every single morning.
Do not use it on the same night as an AHA, BHA or vitamin C. Alternate nights
instead. Do not use it alongside another retinoid.
Who it suits
Skin working on wrinkles, firmness or texture, that is not currently irritated. Not a starting
point if your barrier is already compromised — repair that first.
Who should not use it
- Anyone pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive
- Skin that is currently broken, sunburnt, peeling or actively irritated
- Anyone already using a prescription retinoid, unless a doctor says otherwise
Good to know
Some dryness and light flaking in the first few weeks is normal with any retinoid. Stinging,
burning or a rash is not — stop and let the skin recover. Keep the bottle closed and away
from light and heat; retinal degrades when exposed to both.
