What it is
A clay-based pore mask built to work quickly. Most mud masks need fifteen minutes; this one dries
in around three, which is deliberate — a clay mask left to dry fully on the skin pulls
moisture out along with the oil. Short contact time means you get the pore-clearing without the
tightness afterwards.
What it is formulated to do
- Absorb excess oil and draw out blackheads and congestion
- Make enlarged pores look tighter
- Calm redness and irritation while it works
- Leave a matte, refreshed finish
Key ingredients
- Clay — the oil-absorbing base
- Exfoliating acids — a gentle amount, to loosen congestion
- Guaiazulene — a cooling, calming agent from chamomile
- Allantoin — soothing
Who it suits
Oily and combination skin, and anyone with blackheads around the nose and chin. Dry skin can use
it on the T-zone only.
How to use
- After cleansing, apply an even layer to the areas that need it — it does not have to be
the whole face. - Leave it on for about three minutes only. Do not let it dry hard and crack.
- Rinse with lukewarm water.
- Follow with toner and moisturiser straight away.
Once or twice a week. More often than that and you will dry your skin out, which makes it produce
more oil, not less.
Good to know
Do not use it on broken or inflamed skin, or over an active breakout that has opened. It contains
exfoliating acids, so wear sunscreen in the morning. Patch test first if your skin is sensitive.
