What it is
Anua’s everyday sunscreen from the Heartleaf line. Houttuynia cordata, the heartleaf the brand is known for, sits at the centre of the formula, and the texture is the selling point: it spreads silky and settles to a moist finish instead of a dry, powdery one.

SPF50+ PA++++, covering UVB and the full PA range for UVA.
What it is formulated to do
- Protect against daily UVB and UVA exposure
- Keep skin hydrated rather than tight, which is the usual complaint with high-SPF creams
- Calm the look of redness with heartleaf
- Finish smooth enough to wear under makeup

Who it suits
All skin types. Normal to dry skin gets the most from the moist finish; very oily skin may prefer a matte sunscreen in humid weather.
How to use
- Apply as the last step of your morning routine, about 15 minutes before going out.
- Use roughly two finger-lengths for face and neck. Less than that and you are not getting SPF50.
- Avoid the eyes.
- Reapply every couple of hours in strong sun, and after sweating, swimming or towelling.
- Double cleanse at night to remove it properly.
