What it is

About the ceramides
Every CeraVe formula is built on the same idea: three ceramides (NP, AP and EOP) in the same
ratio skin makes them, with cholesterol and fatty acids. Ceramides are what hold the skin barrier
together, and skin that is dry, stripped or reactive is usually short of them. The brand’s MVE
delivery system holds those ingredients in layered spheres so they release slowly rather than all
at once.

Who it suits
Normal to dry and sensitive skin. Fragrance-free and non-comedogenic.
How to use
- Morning only, after cleansing.
- Apply liberally to face and neck, 15 minutes before going out.
- Reapply every two hours if you are in the sun. This is not water-resistant, so use a dedicated sunscreen for swimming or sport.
A moisturiser with SPF gets applied more thinly than sunscreen alone. On a long day outdoors, a separate sunscreen is the safer choice.
