What it is
COSRX’s everyday sunscreen, built around aloe arborescens leaf extract. It uses both chemical and mineral filters, including titanium dioxide, which is why the finish sits somewhere between a modern Korean sunscreen and a classic one.

What it is formulated to do
- Protect against daily UVB and UVA exposure
- Soothe and hydrate with aloe rather than drying the skin out
- Sit under or over makeup
Key ingredients
- Aloe arborescens leaf extract, listed at 55,000 ppm
- UV filters: ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, titanium dioxide, phenylbenzimidazole sulfonic acid, bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine
- Glycerin and butylene glycol for water
- Tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E)
Who it suits
Most skin types. One thing to know before you buy: this formula contains fragrance, including linalool, limonene and citral. If fragrance is a problem for your skin, choose a fragrance-free sunscreen instead.
How to use
- Last step of the morning routine, about 30 minutes before going out.
- Use the two-finger rule for face and neck. Anything less and you are not getting SPF50.
- Under makeup, let it set for a minute or two first.
- Reapply every two hours in strong sun, and after sweating or swimming. This one is not listed as water-resistant, so reapply more often around water.
