What it is
Medicube builds this cream in two parts: pink capsules holding the brightening actives, and a
gel base you blend them into. Tranexamic acid and niacinamide are the pairing that does the work on
pigment. Tranexamic acid is well known in dermatology for stubborn melasma-type discolouration;
niacinamide handles tone and pore appearance alongside it.

How the capsules work
The capsules sit separately from the gel inside the jar so the active ingredient is not sitting
in water oxidising on a shelf. You mix them on the back of your hand, or on your skin, right before
applying. Mix fewer capsules into more gel for a lighter day texture, more capsules for a richer
night treatment. That is the point of the format.
Who it suits
Most skin types working on dark spots or uneven tone. Useful if vitamin C has irritated you in
the past, since tranexamic acid is usually better tolerated.
How to use
- Take some gel and some capsules together on the back of your hand.
- Blend until the capsules break down and the mixture is even.
- Apply over the face and pat in.
- Morning and evening.
- Sunscreen every morning. Pigment does not fade while UV keeps feeding it.
Good to know
Patch test first if your skin is sensitive. Use a clean spatula rather than wet fingers so the
jar stays fresh. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor before starting a
brightening active.
