Choosing a shade online

Screens show colour differently, and makeup looks different on skin than in a swatch. Treat the shade images as a guide rather than an exact match. If you are between two shades, the lighter one is the safer first buy.

How to use

1. Apply a little eyeshadow primer or concealer to the lid first so the kajal grips.
2. Draw one smooth, continuous line rather than going back and forth.
3. Press a matching eyeshadow over the line with a small brush to set it.

Good to know

Replace eye products three to six months after opening. Do not share them, and stop using one if your eyes sting, water or redden. Do not use on an eye with an infection or a stye.
