What it is
Anua’s deep-cleansing foam, in the 25ml size that suits travel or trying the product before committing to the full bottle. Quercetinol is a flavonoid derived from heartleaf, and it does the calming work. The pore work is handled by BHA at about 0.5%, low enough for daily use.
What it is formulated to do
- Clear sebum and the day’s build-up in the second cleanse
- Keep pores from clogging, with a gentle oil-soluble exfoliant
- Calm the look of irritation with heartleaf and quercetinol
- Rinse without leaving skin tight
Key ingredients
- Heartleaf extract and powder
- Quercetinol, a heartleaf-derived flavonoid
- BHA at around 0.5%, as betaine salicylate
- Hyaluronic acid and glycerin
Who it suits
Oily and congestion-prone skin. Dry skin can use it, but probably in the evening only.
How to use
- If you are wearing sunscreen or makeup, use an oil cleanser first.
- Squeeze out a small amount, around the size of a blueberry, and work it into a lather with water.
- Massage over damp skin for about 30 seconds, concentrating on the T-zone.
- Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry, then continue with toner.
Morning and evening. Avoid the eyes, and stop if irritation develops.
