What it is
The counterpart to CeraVe’s Hydrating Cleanser. This one lathers and is built for skin that produces real oil through the day. The difference from a drugstore foaming wash is what stays behind: ceramides and niacinamide rather than nothing at all.

About the ceramides
Every CeraVe formula is built on the same idea: three ceramides (NP, AP and EOP) in the same
ratio skin makes them, with cholesterol and fatty acids. Ceramides are what hold the skin barrier
together, and skin that is dry, stripped or reactive is usually short of them. The brand’s MVE
delivery system holds those ingredients in layered spheres so they release slowly rather than all
at once.

Who it suits

How to use
- Wet the face with lukewarm water.
- Massage the cleanser in, working up a light lather.
- Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
Morning and evening. In the evening, use an oil cleanser first if you wear sunscreen or makeup.
